Update: After my initial review of this establishment talking about my discontent with the experience, the owner and manager kindly reached out and made sure things were made right. They were exceptional with communication and offered a variety of options to get us squared away. Big thanks to Robert and Melissa for their help! I came here with my family for my mother's birthday dinner, high expectations walking in. - The ambiance was great; the lights were dim and the restaurant itself was very clean and organized. - Started with the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Warm Butternut Squash and Ricotta dip. Both appetizers were splendid. Highly recommend the dip. Was charged $4 for extra bread. - As for entrees, DO NOT GET THE NEW BEDFORD SCALLOP & SHRIMP RISOTTO. The rice was too sweet and the dish itself was almost unappetizing. - Steak from the wedge salad and the chicken from the chicken club were both burnt. The potatoes from the Ceder Roasted Salmon were not cooked all the way. The purée from the salmon dish, however, was great. - Overall, a 2/10 experience. The dishes were overpriced and service was slow. I would NOT recommend.

We both had their specials: short ribs Wellington, and a Thai inspired Shrimp and Scallops. Both were delicious, though the Shrimp and Scallops was too spicy for me. (Our server said they were lightly spicy) Service was good. Ambience nice. Harvest specializes in locally sourced, fresh food, and rotates their menu with the seasons.

3.5 stars - maybe 4. This was our first time at this location (I had dined at the Glen Mills one a few times) so I knew what to expect. Our server Eli was nice but never offered us bread. We asked for some but he said they don't serve it so we paid for an order of warm pita bread. It came out with no butter nor oil. Nothing. So Eli brought us some honey butter (delicious) that they normally serve with biscuits. Meanwhile the food here is very fresh and tasty but pricey. The entree salads are big but no bread to go with it. Nice cocktails from $12 - $16. Happy hours is a much better deal if you can get here by 6. We'll be back.

This was my first time in Harvest and I have to say I was impressed (with the food). The location used to be a Green Turtle but they did a great job with the renovation, both freshening the look and improving the layout. First the service, (we went in around noon on a Friday) we walked in and the employee up front wouldn't put her phone down to look at us. We did what we typically do and said we were going to the bar, not much of a response. Oh well, this person wasn't going to serve us. We sat at the bar and looked around, it wasn't very busy for lunchtime which was a little odd when the surrounding restaurants typically have a wait at this time. We sat there for a few minutes and then I saw what was happening, the bartender was serving several tables as well (I get it but not the best idea to build bar business). She eventually came over and greeted us, nothing bad but nothing I would say screamed personality. She explained how all menu items (except a few) were under 500 calories, I love having options like this so I was excited. I asked what beers were on tap and she took a few minutes trying to find a draft list. Six beers, mainly local breweries, nothing that really was great but not bad either. I opted for an IPA. For appetizers we ordered the Greek Salad and the General Tso's Cauliflower. The cauliflower was amazing, it had the right amount of heat, sweet and salty. The cauliflower was breaded with a light batter and fried (this and the chili oil made me question the calorie content), but hey, it's less calories than wings. They topped it with some Fresno chili which the menu said was pickled but was not...I was fine with it either way and like that I could amp up the heat. The Greek salad was decent. I don't order a lot of Greek salads, but when I do I'm looking for some tang from the dressing, saltiness and umami of the olives and salty bit of some feta. The produce looked good and was fresh but they take the Kalamata olives and mince them using it as a seasoning which seemed to lack the olive flavor I was yearning for. Also, the feta I'm almost positive was from goat, which I know some feta is, but it lacked the mellowness and saltiness of sheep milk feta (I wasn't looking for the ever-present barnyard flavor of goat cheese on this day). All in all a decent salad but I would try a different one next time. On to the entrees, I opted for the Korean Fried Grains: Coconut Jasmine Rice, Wheat Berry, JUST Egg, Carrot, Bell Pepper, Onion, Shiitake Mushroom, Crispy Fried Onion, Bean Sprout, Sesame Seed, Gochujang, Kimchi. I didn't order any additional protein but if you wanted you could add chicken, shrimp, etc. I thought they were very good and they filled me up. They had the right amount of seasoning, a subtle sweetness from the coconut Jasmine and some kick. I did find the gochujang and kimchi lacking and am curious just how much is used. But even in its absence this dish was very good. My wife ordered the Sesame Chicken: Coconut Jasmine Rice, Bell Pepper, Sweet Onion, Kale, Snow Pea, Broccolini, Ginger Tamari, Toasted Sesame, Scallion with Sautéed Chicken. This too was great, flavorful, a bright pop from the ginger and the chicken was cooked perfectly. This dish was large and that worked because the second half served for a great lunch the next day. Throughout the meal the bartender was fairly well attentive but definitely overworked. At one point I heard her say to no one in particular: "Oh, I was just triple sat". I felt bad because we see this all too often, the staff is overwhelmed service levels slip and they lose out. So I guess after eating I felt the bartenders stoic personality was probably just the way they handled all of the pressure. All in all, this place was very good and we will be back. Keep in mind the entree prices are around $30 each so you're certainly paying for the experience, but well worth it.

I've been wanting to visit Harvest Seasonal Grill's new North Wales location for a while now. I'd been to their old location in North Wales a couple times, but they recently-ish moved just down the street. They certainly did not disappoint and in fact seem improved from the old location. The food and menu was fantastic. I love all the fresh and seasonal ingredients. It's one of those menus where I want basically everything! One thing I also liked about the menu was that they denote which items are under and over 500 calories. I was very impressed with the amount of items on the menu that were under 500 calories! Most of the entrees were over 500, which is to be expected since they're bigger dishes, but most of the appetizers, salads, and shareables were all under 500 calories. We started out with the Autumn-Spiced Chicken flatbread. The bread was thin and crispy like a cracker, topped with shredded chicken and apple butter. The apple butter was a very nice touch and added sweet notes to the dish. For my meal I got the Spicy Noodle Bowl with Scallops. This was delicious but my only complaint was that the scallops add-on (+$16) came with just two scallops. They were large, but two scallops seems a bit stingy. My guests got the Spicy Noodle Bowl with Steak Add-on, the Bison Burger, and the Castle Valley Mill Pasta with Chicken add-on. The pasta was a bit sweet for Lori's liking, but the others enjoyed their entrees and ate every bite. For dessert, they have small dessert cups of different varieties. I appreciate and enjoy desserts in this manner because they're small and don't put you over the top (I often put myself over the top with dessert), and you can try more than one if you want! Some of the flavors included pumpkin cream, peanut butter and chocolate, cannoli, apple, pecan, etc. The service was quite good! The servers were kind, attentive, and friendly and were helpful in curing my indecisiveness in choosing an entree. The ambiance of the restaurant was subtle and upscale. It was dimly lit, but not so dim that you couldn't see the menu, the tables were spaced nicely apart, and it didn't get too loud. The restaurant seemed fresh, new, and clean with understated contemporary decor. Lastly, pricing was as expected, rather mid-tier. Drinks, shareables, and appetizers ran in the teens, while entrees ran in the high $30's and $40's. This is about the range I would expect and wouldn't consider Harvest Seasonal over or underpriced (aside from $16 for two scallops). I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and would return and try other locations!

Harvest moved to a different location (across the street) recently, but their food and wine are still amazing! We were seated immediately without a reservation (don't try this). I had soup and then a benedict for brunch. Every item was flavorful and fresh, the server was polite and attentive, and the flight was tasty. I know some people complain about the pricing here sometimes, but you pay for quality. With so many big name restaurants in the area, it's nice to have a place that is committed to freshness.
